Alright then. I'm going to limit this to songs in English. Just to make it easier for me.

I watched Gone with the Wind for the first time tonight. I had tried to read the novel during the summer, but I only got about 200 pages before I threw it across the room and stalked away. It's not that the book was bad; it was well written and all of that. I could not stand Scarlett O'Hara. WHAT A HORRIBLE %^$%&^#%%$!!!
I don't usually get this worked up about fictional characters (who am I kidding, yes I do ...), but Scarlett O'Hara just makes me so angry.
She is not all bad. She has some redeeming qualities. Or one redeeming quality. Her will to keep her land. She makes it through the war. Good for her. I guess.
But the rest of the time she is a selfish conniving bee-yatch who is altogether not a pleasant person at all. The worst thing about her is how the men in the novel fawn over her. And she uses them. Yet the women see her for what she truly is, and they don't like her. And with her selfishness, she does things that hurt those women. And she means to do them.
I guess the reason she bothers me so much is that I am totally the India Wilkes or Melanie Wilkes. The women who are used and hurt. I don't know. It just makes me angry. [/rant]

I saw The Other Boleyn Girl last night. At a rather obscene hour, I admit. There was no one else in the theater beside me and my friends. And an awkward middle aged couple. Anyway, here goes.
(Note: I would say SPOILERS, but you should know what happened to Anne Boleyn. If you don't, shame on you! Go read a history book!)

The first post! You'd think it would be a bit more exciting than this. But, alas, it isn't. I apologize.
I have grown weary of lurking here, and have decided to "be a man" and get an LJ of my very own. So, here it is. Hurrah.
And thus ends the first post, because the authoress isn't feeling very creative today. Cheers!
